Bed Slat (LVL)
LVL is an engineered wood product that uses multiple layers of thin wood, oriented in the same direction, assembled with resins . Plywood sheets are used in many areas such as furniture, shuttering and container flooring. LVL is typically used for headers, beams, rimboard, and edge-forming material.
Plywood
The most prominent use of plywood is in structural applications. Plywood can naturally withstand a lot of stress and full weather exposure. Structural plywood is best used for beams and hoardings, but it is commonly used in crates, bins, internal structures, outdoor furniture, and boxes.
Moulding
Moulding (also spelled molding in the United States though usually not within the industry), also known as coving (United Kingdom, Australia), is a strip of material with various profiles used to cover transitions between surfaces or for decoration.
S4S Timber
S4S, or lumber surfaced four sides, is another common surfacing option. This refers to boards being planed and in addition also being straight line ripped on two sides resulting in the board being flat, uniformed in thickness and squared up with parallel edges ready for the manufacturing process.
